Irene Jean-Brice joined Barrett & Farahany as the Firm Administrator in June 2016. Irene brings a wealth of knowledge with her as she has been in the legal field for over 18 years.
Mrs. Jean-Brice is a member of the Atlanta Association of Legal Administrators and was recognized in the Chapter’s October, 2011 issue “Embracing the Super Power in all of us” as one of the Firm Administrators on the Rise to watch. While Mrs. Jean-Brice is not on the board of AALA anymore, she occasionally volunteers on committees such as the Business Partner Committee and AALA’s Diversity Committee where the committee focuses on working to advance cultural competency and respect for others. This is a true passion for Irene as the firm deals with daily discrimination cases.
Irene has a passion for learning and helping others. In her previous firm, she developed an internship program for seniors in high school and college who had a passion for the law and was thinking about attending law school because she states “I have a passion for the law, these students are fresh, eager and exited to learn. I take pride in what I do, and it is for fulfilling for me to show them my world.”
In her spare time Irene spends time with her husband, Phil, their two children Deavon and Layla and their dog Ebony.
